PUMPKIN LORD
The Pumpkin Lord is a character that took part in Halloween Horror Nights 30 originally featured in his own haunted house titled The Wicked Growth: Realm of the Pumpkin. He would reappear the following year as the Icon for Halloween Horror Nights 31, being featured in his own scarezone: Horrors of Halloween. The zone tied into many of the zones that year, and also featured many of the Pumpkin Lord's minions doing his biding.

ORIGIN
Ancient witches and goblins used the festival known as Samhain to conjure a powerful being. Grown from a twisted heap of malignant vines and pumpkin, The Pumpkin Lord got his power by tricking and enticing people to celebrate Halloween. He draws life from those practicing the traditions of the season, getting slowly stronger and more imposing until he has guests in his grasp. To accomplish this, he employs minions who help harvest all that makes Halloween what it is.
INFLUENCE
The Pumpkin Lord grows Halloween. Each year, he grows bigger and bigger, harvesting and gathering all the things that make Halloween what it is. He does this with the help of his minions of Witches, Goblins and otherworldly creatures that go bump in the night. one such follower, Gramalkin The Summoner works directly on the behalf of The Pumpkin Lord. She is an old witch who is very talented and skilled in spellwork and gathering all of the ingredients so her spell for him can effectively work.
RULING OVER THE EVENT
During Halloween Horror Nights 31 in 2022, The Pumpkin Lord was summoned again in Universal Studios Florida. The Pumpkin Lord has become even more powerful due to all of the followers he has gained the previous year. He used this power to take over the whole park and spread his vines and pumpkins everywhere. He sat near the front of the park and interacted with guests as they walked by. His influence spread wide across the event, using his power to summon witches and ghouls alike to partake in the event. Potentially even summoning a fan favorite merchandise icon, Lil Boo, to help gain more power by having all the HHN guests purchase merchandise and attract more victims to the event. The Pumpkin Lord became widely popular with event guests, amassing an impressive following which only fueled his power more.
PRESENCE IN RECENT YEARS
The Pumpkin Lord hasn't yet been summoned to return in full force as seen in HHN 31. However each year inside Universal Orlando's Cabana Bay Beach Resort hotel lobby, a bar is themed to Wicked Growth featuring a spell book with the incantation to summon the Pumpkin Lord. in 2026, H.R. Bloodengutz hosted a Halloween Fright-tacular presentation featuring a B-movie film depicting the return of the Pumpkin Lord and introducing a new cult of the Pumpkin Lord group where each follower carved their faces as jack-o-lanterns and wore gourd themed costumes. The Pumpkin Lord and his followers were seen attacking HHN fans sporting Lil Boo and Jack The Clown shirts. Its unknown if the "Cult Of The Pumpkin Lord" film that H.R. Bloodengutz presented was based on true events or satire based on the Pumpkin Lords previous control over HHN.
