EDDIE
Eddie Schmidt (brother of Jack The Clown) was the Event Icon that was intended to appear during Halloween Horror Nights 11 in 2001. However, due to the 9/11/2001 terror attacks on the U.S., plans for the event were scaled back to dial down on the gore. Eddie was pulled and replaced by the return of the previous event's icon, Jack the Clown. Eddie would later appear in future events but never had a chance to be a main icon as originally intended.

ORIGIN STORY
Edgar "Eddie" Schmidt is the brother of Jack the Clown. Eddie, like his brother, was born in the Shady Brook Rest Home and Sanitarium in the late 1800's and also wears clown make-up (designed to resemble his brother) to mask his burn scars. Eddie is portrayed as having been overly obsessed with "slasher" horror films, particularly ones featuring chainsaw wielding maniacs such as The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
In his youth, he set up a haunted house event within the confines of the trailer park he lived in. A group of other teens set a fire in the trailer park as a prank, not knowing he was inside, trapping him and disfiguring his face and hands with severe burns for life.
Not much is known about Eddie's early life including his possible immortality that could be linked with Jack. Having been born in the 1800's and yet developed a love for horror films of the 1980's but never seen aging past adulthood, Eddie Schmidt's backstory still has a lot to be uncovered.
RUN-ING THE SHOW
Later, Eddie would open his own variation of his brothers funhouse, a "game show" called RUN. In it, visitors must escape from various torture devices and chainsaw wielders like himself without losing their minds. Run took place within a sinister and haphazard "game show", an intricate labyrinth made from junkyard refuse, designed and built by Eddie himself. The only prize the contestants would get if they made it out alive was their survival.
Some years later, with financing from his brother, he'd re-open RUN. This version was a murder-for-hire business, where Eddie and his goons would torture and kill victims for profit. Promoted under the misleading name of Oddfellow's Ultimate Ventures, the business catered to a rich clientele...which would inevitably meet the same fate as the victims they hired Eddie and the rest of the staff to kill.
FEAR REVEALED
In 2010 when the Sumerian demon Adaru revealed himself at Halloween Horror Nights XX, many of the demons Heralds reappeared at the event including Eddie's brother Jack The Clown. Jack was revealed to be Fears herald of chaos. Eddie himself would appear at the event as well. It is currently unknown how much, if any, control Adaru has over the chainsaw welding maniac.
Eddie would reappear again 5 years later when Jack took over Halloween Horror Nights 25.
EDDIES REVENGE
Eddie appeared again during Halloween Horror Nights 30 in 2021. Returning to Halloween Horror Nights to film a gory Hollywood sequel to one of Eddies favorite (in universe) chainsaw slashers that released in 2010, The CHAINSAW DRILL TEAM MASSACRE in 3-D. Now Eddie is taking a shot at directing in Lights, Camera, Hacktion: Eddie’s Revenge – except this time, the monsters are real. Vampires, evil clowns, creatures from the watery depths and other horrific beings from event’s past will roar on the scene where guests will make their short, and painful, cameo.
Since then, Eddie has yet to reappear...
