FULL LORE
SKEPTICAL ORIGIN
During Halloween Horror Nights: Sweet 16, a backstory told a possible yet unconfirmed story for the Storyteller:
As a little girl, Elizabeth (Elsa) Strict was visited by a winged creature, who wanted to skin her alive. In retaliation, she ate the monster, and in doing so inherited its Darkness. She then proceeded to rip all of the stuffing out of one of her dolls and murder her mother with a hammer.
Some theorize the winged creature might've potentially come from Oddfellow's Shipyard 32. if the story is to be believed.

TERRA CRUENTUS
in 2005, she transported Horror Nights guests into the landscape of her newest story, called "Terra Cruentus". The land was ruled over by the evil Terra Queen, who would oversee the execution of her victims to refill "blood vats". This blood was used to create a ceremonial dagger called the Terra Throne Blade and it was used on the nightly sacrificial ceremonies. On the last night, the Queen herself was sacrificed. All the while, The Storyteller herself could be found in the North Hollow Household, which contained many horrific creatures as one of Maldakken Pass' Tests of Survival.

SWEET 16
The following year in 2006, The Lord of Darkness and his servants unearthed the ashes of Horror Nights to revive her, Jack The Clown, The Caretaker and The Director to celebrate a terrifying Sweet 16 celebration of horror. She also refurbished the Dungeon of Terror, a scary roadside attraction that was left defunct in Rabun County, Georgia for many years. She and her extended family of rednecks inhabited the attraction, waiting for their next victims. The Dungeon of Terror was one of the very first haunted houses featured at Halloween Horror Nights.

HERALD OF ADARU
In 2010, it was revealed that she was a servant to the dark god, Adaru. Her true name was that of Legend. The Storyteller, her fellow icons, and many other terrors of Horror Nights were eventually returned to the Lantern and locked away with Fear. But this would not be her final chapter...
STORYTELLERS RETURN
in 2021, ater being released from the Lantern, Jack brought her back along with the other icons during Halloween Horror Nights 25 to celebrate The Kill. To instill fear for many passersby, she would demonstrate her murderous ways by cutting out the tongue of a helpless victim, harkening back to a similar kill she committed during Sweet 16. Six years later, she would return alongside Jack, The Director, The Usher and The Caretaker in the HHN Icons: Captured haunted house during Halloween Horror Nights 30. In a replicated room from her realm in the North Hollow Household, The Storyteller would show her more demonic side. Additionally, she was one of the icons to claim victory on Fear's throne in the house.
